Technical Services and Territory Manager - Swine

Our client, is a research driven pharmaceutical company that has been providing both humans and animals with innovative medicines for more than 100 years. This global leader in premium branded animal health and veterinary pharmaceuticals is currently looking for a Technical Services and Territory Manager to join its successful animal health division. This technical sales role will be representing the swine product portfolio to veterinary practices and farm producers across the south east QLD and northern NSW regions.

As a Technical Services & Territory Manager, you are passionate about veterinary medicine and animal health. You are an energetic and enthusiastic person who loves meeting new people. You have a knack for being overly organized. Our client would especially love it if you have already gained some sales experience in your veterinary or agricultural career.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating demand and securing sales by delivering and demonstrating the value of products in the swine veterinary portfolio to vet practices, intensive farming operations and industry key opinion leaders
  • Maintain existing and generate new business relationships with key stakeholders
  • Managing the territory consistent with our client’s marketing strategies and sales objectives
  • Delivering highly technical information to assist in the sales process
  • Provide technical support to local commercial teams to solve technical issues.
  • Share technical knowledge through written (bulletins, publications) and spoken communications (seminars and presentations).

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Veterinary Science, Animal Health or Agriculture
  • Communication and interpersonal skills that build and nurture relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills
  • Current and valid driver’s license
