Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Wellington, New Zealand

Our client, is a world leading premium branded animal health and veterinary pharmaceuticals company. They are committed to creating a healthier future for all of us through science. We are currently looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join the successful animal health division in New Zealand. This role will assist in providing regulatory and technical support to project teams to drive innovation and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise on regulatory requirements and contribute to drive implementation of regulatory strategies
  • Drive best practice across the regulatory team and other internal stakeholders to optimize business processes and growth opportunities
  • Advise local and global team on the interpretation and application of New Zealand regulations
  • Manage effective stakeholder relationships between the company and New Zealand authorities such as ACVM, EPA, Biosecurity and industry groups.
  • Project lead pharmacovigilance procedures to ensure the local activities are in alignment with the global objectives and local authority requirements

Requirements:

  • Tertiary or Post-Graduate degrees in Veterinary or Biological Sciences
  • Previous experience within a regulatory / pharmaceutical role is highly regarded
  • Advanced written communication skills for report writing and document reviews
  • Demonstrated ability in analysing data and can use logical and analytical approaches to solve problems
