Senior Regulatory & Veterinary Affairs Manager

We are representing one of the biggest brands in the animal health manufacturing industry. Backed up by a solid research and development unit, our client has a comprehensive portfolio: from multispecies vaccine, antibiotics, diagnostic, bio device and diagnostics available globally.

They are globally present and their organization in Thailand is looking for a Senior Regulatory & Veterinary Affairs Manager. Reporting to the General Manager of Thailand, you will be responsible to oversee, plan and execute Product Registration process, troubleshooting and liaise the company with corresponding Vietnam Regulation Agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Actively ensure all accountability for our client’s Regulatory activities
  • Lead the team by Providing regulatory guidance and support to local affiliate and local Regulatory Agencies for implementing regulatory strategy for the affiliate.
  • Build Regulatory affairs strategy and action plan and as well as other assigned activities in the unit.
  • Monitor the effect of public policy changes impacting product registration, licenses, animal health business to develop PA strategy & drive stakeholder engagement.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all activities with the regulatory agencies. Provide regulatory guidance to colleagues and project teams, advising on regulatory decisions and acting as a source of information
  • Develop a trusted regulatory environment and strong partnership with regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance of printed packaging components created from product information translations
  • Ensure artwork changes following license renewals and variations are made in line with published timelines
  • Ensure compliance with the reporting and follow-up of product complaints and adverse drug events
  • Receive and handle or escalate suspected product defects and product complaints and Suspected Adverse Event reports
  • Ensure compliance of marketing materials/ public / social media communication
  • Support the Responsible Pharmacist on managing the Quality Management System (QMS) and partner with all necessary parts of the business to make documented procedures available

You will also possess the following attributes

  • Bachelor degree in veterinary from reputable university, holding master degree is an advantage
  • Having at least 7 years of experience in the Animal health, veterinary or Human Pharmaceutical Industries, with strong leadership capacity.
  • Prior working experience in the Animal Health, or Life Science is preferred
  • Solid knowledge of local Legislation and functional skills.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent self-management and organization skills
  • Fluent in English
