Technical Sales – Animal Nutrition – Swine

We are excited to offer this newly created opportunity to the market. Our client, understands the role healthy animals play in making our lives better with a major focus on innovation, research and customer success. A global leader in premium branded animal nutrition products, they are currently looking for a Technical Sales representative to join their rapidly expanding Swine team. This role can be based anywhere in Germany.

Do you see yourself as being the key interface between the corporate customer and the business? Are you passionate about pigs, their health and want to have an impact on their well-being by opening up access to world class nutrition advice to livestock producers?  We can see you growing the swine business with the support of our feed mill technical and commercial staff with sound nutritional advice. 

As the new Nutrition Account Manager, you will develop sales and provide value based nutrition solutions specialising in pig feed. We need you to be pivotal in implementing strategies within nominated corporate accounts, premix customers, feed mills, livestock nutritionists and key opinion leaders across Western Europe. You possess extraordinary analytical skills with the ability to develop tactics and measure return on investment post implementation. You have a proven track record in delivering sound technical advice and sales in the agricultural sales environment.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Build, implement and monitor key account management plans based on expert technical animal nutrition advice

  • Depict accurate sales and forecasts for supply and budgetary purposes across the region.

  • Liaise with business partners to build and develop client relationships and strategically strengthen the commercial-technical efforts.

  • Identify, build and cultivate crucial commercial relationships to deliver on business performance requirements

We require the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Animal Sciences, Veterinary Sciences or similar

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales or Technical Services with a successful track record

  • Good working knowledge of the Animal Nutrition and/or Animal Husbandry industry across Germany

  • Strong negotiation, planning and presentation skills.

  • A current and valid driving license.

  • Fluency in German and high working knowledge of English

  • You will be required to travel including field visits with clients throughout Western Europe, monthly team meetings and various industry conferences and events.
