Exciting Opportunity: Validation Engineer / Quality Control Associate – Pharmaceutical Vaccine Manufacturer

Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring the highest quality standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Validation Engineer / Quality Control Associate to join our client's team.  

About our client: A highly regarded pharmaceutical vaccine manufacturer dedicated to producing vaccines in their manufacturing facility in Sydney, with a strong commitment to science, quality, innovation, and safety.

Position Overview: As a Validation Engineer / Quality Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and effectiveness of the pharmaceutical vaccines produced. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing validation processes for equipment, systems, and processes
  • Executing validation protocols, conducting testing, and analysing data
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participating in quality control activities, including batch testing, analysis, and documentation
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving quality-related issues
  • Conducting risk assessments and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical validation principles and quality control practices
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, or validation (preferred)
  • Experience in bio-pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (APVMA, TGA, BP, GMP, etc.) applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to challenges
