We are looking for an experienced Vet to join a well-established practice on a permanent basis located in North Wales
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon with confidence in general surgery and medicine and the ability to manage sole charge. Good communication skills and working up of cases are essential. The working week comprises two full days 8am-7pm, two full days 9am-7pm with every other Saturday morning 8am-2pm. Regular Saturday working on a rota. There is a full day off every week and Vets now take all the OOH cases and cover Bank Holidays. However, the hours are negotiable and part time may be considered for the right candidate.
Two bedroomed accommodation may be available above the practice.
About The Practice:
The practice is a small, supportive, and enthusiastic team. Their lab is newly refurbished with Idexx machines fitted and in-house case development is encouraged. They are enthusiastic about their patient's oral hygiene and benefit from a dental x-ray and up to date dental equipment, as well as digital radiography and ultrasound to aid diagnostics. CPD and study for certificates is encouraged and funded.
The Practice also have contacts with a visiting imaging specialist, soft tissue surgeon and orthopaedic surgeon, along with great relationships with local referral hospitals as needed.
Applicant Requirements:
The practice require an experienced individual capable of sole charge and confident in both client care and communication, working up cases thoroughly and in dealing with routine medical and surgical cases.
