Supply Chain Leader
Our client is a global pharmaceutical company with a strong and established presence in the Thailand market. They are currently seeking a Supply Chain Lead to be based in Bangkok.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on professional with a background in pharmaceuticals, life science and biotechnology.
We are looking for someone who can think outside the box, solve problems with agility, and pay close attention to detail—a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to drive supply chain excellence across the country.
With a proactive and hands-on approach, the leader drives monthly demand review meetings, secures alignment through consensus sign-offs, and leads initiatives to improve logistics cost performance—making a direct impact on the success of the Thailand market.
Your responsibilities will include:
Demand Management
- Lead and improve the S&OP and S&OE processes for finished goods, working closely with Commercial teams to keep everything in sync.
- Make sure each market regularly updates its 24–36 month forecast (both in volume and value) on time.
- Run Cluster-level demand review meetings and share useful insights for global planning discussions.
- Team up with Global NPI and local Marketing to ensure new product launches go smoothly and on time.
Supply Chain Leadership
- Act as the main link between Supply Chain and Commercial teams — helping solve problems and keep things moving with Supply and Logistics partners.
- Help create and put into action supply chain strategies that support business growth, together with the Customer Supply Services Leader.
- Clearly share big forecast changes or special updates with the Supply Chain network.
- Join Supply Chain Planning forums and work closely with Platform Planning teams to improve results.
Inventory Management
- Set the right targets for finished goods inventory to keep the right stock levels (Months on Hand).
- Lead actions to cut down on extra or old stock and avoid waste or product write-offs.
Logistics & Cost Improvement
- Manage day-to-day logistics operations to keep performance high.
- Check how well logistics service providers (LSPs) are doing and look for ways to improve cost, delivery time, and service.
- Take care of the Thailand logistics budget and always look for smarter, more cost-effective ways to work.
People Management & Team Development
- A strong and supportive leader who helps team members grow and succeed.
- Encourage learning and development through coaching, feedback, and regular check-ins.
We are looking for candidate with:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
Experience
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience in demand planning, supply chain, or logistics.
- At least 4 years working in the healthcare sector or a similar regulated industry
Skills
- Strong ability to analyze data and turn insights into actionable decisions.
- Skilled in using systems like SAP APO (DP/SNP), IBP, and planning tools such as DRP/MRP.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and experienced with statistical software for data analysis.
- Solid understanding of forecasting techniques, production processes, and product lifecycle management.
Professional Competencies
- Comfortable working across teams including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and third-party logistics providers.
- Able to work independently, manage tasks effectively, and raise issues when needed.
- Strong leadership and team coaching skills, with the ability to lead or support a team as needed.
