The Role
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead and mentor a passionate field sales team to achieve ambitious business outcomes. Reporting to the National Sales Leader, you will be responsible for translating national business unit strategies into high-impact regional execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a regional team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Strategic Implementation: Drive territory planning, segmentation, and marketing campaigns to optimize customer interactions and regional market share.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, utilize CRM data to measure key metrics, and ensure the team achieves identified sales targets.
- Key Account Management: Lead the routine servicing of nominated wholesale accounts and buying groups at a state level, including conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Market Insight: Maintain and report on market trends and competitor activity to ensure the region remains ahead of industry shifts.
What You Bring
You are a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous yet collaborative environment. You possess the business acumen to understand commercial drivers and the leadership capability to manage a team effectively, even when working remotely.
- Experience: Significant experience in a sales management role within the Pharmaceutical, Medical, or related life-sciences industry.
- Education: Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Leadership: Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a proven ability to lead a sales-oriented culture.
- Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deliver high-impact presentations.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM systems and data analysis to drive logical, evidence-based decision-making.
