The Opportunity: Head of Sales, Animal BioSolutions, APAC

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our client's APAC Animal & Plant BioSolutions team. This team unites top-tier commercial, technical, and marketing professionals from across the region, all sharing a deep commitment to customer success. You will lead a team dedicated to delivering impactful solutions in feed enzymes, probiotics, and silage inoculants, all within a culture defined by collaboration, innovation, sustainability, and ownership.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategic plans to expand our client’s market presence and customer base throughout the APAC region.
• Sales Management: Leading, coaching, and managing the regional sales and technical-sales teams to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Business Development: Identifying and capitalizing on significant growth opportunities and emerging market trends within the animal biosolutions industry.
• Customer Relations: Building and maintaining powerful, lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
• Operational Oversight: Overseeing daily commercial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and the tracking of key performance metrics for the region.

To succeed, you must hold:

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or commercial management within the animal health and nutrition industry in China / APAC region.
• A recognized qualification in agriculture, livestock production, veterinary medicine, animal science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated business acumen, with strong skills in strategic planning, leadership, and team management in APAC region. 
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth, current knowledge of the APAC animal health industry and its market dynamics.
