Our Client is a leader in advancing animal health through innovative products and solutions. As a rapidly growing company, they are dedicated to making a significant impact in the industry. They are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager - Intensive Livestock to join their team and drive exceptional customer support.

Role Overview:

Are you passionate about providing unparalleled customer service and managing a high-performing team? As the Commercial Manager, you will be the driving force behind delivering top-tier support to customers, offering expert technical advice on products, and leading initiatives to boost product sales. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing customer service standards and building strong commercial relationships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Lead the Administration and Customer Service team to ensure efficient customer service and order management. Master and improve intricate order management processes to deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Sales and Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to drive product portfolio sales and marketing, meeting growth forecasts while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Key Account Management: Build and nurture vital commercial relationships with key accounts. Develop and implement tailored strategies to meet business performance requirements and achieve sales targets.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical advice on products, addressing customer inquiries and offering solutions-based support.
  • Pharmacovigilance: Oversee pharmacovigilance activities, including handling adverse events and product quality complaints. Ensure effective communication and support for all stakeholders.
  • Industry Relationships: Cultivate relationships with researchers and technical leaders in the animal health industry and contribute to the development of new products and services.
  • Educational Materials: Draft and maintain accurate and compliant promotional and educational materials related to the company’s products.

Skills and Experience:

  • Over 4 years of experience in a similar role within the animal health or pharmaceutical industry with a strong background in both sales, KAM and/or customer service.
  • Proven success in driving business growth and managing key accounts.
  • A passion for delivering best-in-class customer service and leading a team.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A tertiary qualification in Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or Veterinary Science, ideally with a focus on animal health, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong data analysis skills.
