Our client, a globally recognized leader in the healthcare and life sciences sector, is seeking a Commercial Operations Director to drive operational strategy and execution across Thailand.
This high-impact role offers the opportunity to influence the commercial direction of a fast-growing regional business. You will lead a skilled team and be responsible for driving customer service excellence, data-driven insights, operational transformation, and field force effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Operations
- Lead the full Order-to-Cash process, ensuring high levels of service, accuracy, and compliance.
- Oversee pricing execution, rebate management, and dispute resolution.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
Business Analytics & Operational Strategy
- Deliver timely commercial analytics, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Manage sales forecasting, demand planning, and incentive scheme execution.
- Support leadership with data-driven recommendations and strategic insights.
Field Force Effectiveness
- Enhance productivity through effective territory planning, training, and digital tools.
- Drive alignment between field operations and strategic priorities.
- Reduce administrative overhead to increase customer-facing time.
Commercial Enablement
- Develop and refine pricing, access, and channel strategies.
- Implement digital transformation initiatives to improve commercial agility.
- Align local operational policies with global frameworks and market realities.
Team Leadership
- Lead a high-performing team of nine, including four direct reports.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership across multiple functions.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in commercial operations, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG.
- Proven leadership in customer service, commercial analytics, and sales enablement.
- Proficient in CRM systems and data analytics platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking paired with operational excellence and people leadership skills.
