About the Role:
Our client, an industry leader in plant biosolutions, is seeking a skilled and proactive Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support their growing business across the Middle East and Africa. In this vital role, you’ll serve as a key regulatory point of contact, ensuring market access and compliance for a range of innovative microbial and enzyme-based solutions used in agriculture. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and interpret regulatory requirements for microbial and enzyme-based products used as fertilizers, biostimulants, and pesticides.
- Lead the preparation and submission of dossiers to obtain licenses, registrations, and import permits across MEA markets.
- Engage with regulatory authorities and industry bodies to shape clear, viable market entry pathways.
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and provide timely updates and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all product materials, labels, and communications meet local legal requirements.
- Respond to internal and customer inquiries regarding regulatory status, certifications, and product compliance.
- Support digital systems (e.g., Veeva, SharePoint) for regulatory information management.
- Assess risks and optimize regulatory strategies to accelerate time-to-market while maintaining compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline (e.g., microbiology, biology, chemistry, or plant sciences).
- 2–4 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably within the agriculture, biocontrol, or biosolutions sectors.
- Working knowledge of regional fertilizer and pesticide regulations in the MEA region.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English; Arabic or additional regional languages are a plus.
- Analytical, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple geographies.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% across the region.
