As Product Manager, you will be the primary strategist and executor responsible for:
Strategic Vision & Financial Management
- Develop robust short-term and long-term objectives, strategies, and practical business plans based on thorough product evaluations and understanding of market opportunities.
- Oversee and manage budgets, carefully allocate promotional spending, and proactively suggest high-impact strategies to boost sales volume and overall profitability.
- Direct key supporting activities such as predicting demand (forecasting), organizing supply chain requirements, setting pricing, conducting margin analysis, and detailed A&P (Advertising & Promotions) campaign planning.
- Continuously assess the product's standing and future potential in the market. Collect essential competitor intelligence to formulate prompt and effective responses.
Market Implementation & Outreach
- Manage the complete end-to-end market rollout of both product improvements and entirely new product varieties.
- Conceptualize and create persuasive marketing collateral, including technical leaflets, promotional signage, and educational kits for sales staff.
- Clearly articulate the product strategy and its performance to the field sales force, marketing colleagues, and relevant departments across both local and international operations.
- Furnish the sales team with insightful comparative product analyses, winning tactics, and concise summaries of key features and customer benefits.
Key Relationship Management
- Connect with and actively cultivate strong, lasting relationships with important industry organizations and influential poultry health opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Collaborate closely with strategic external partners to maximize the impact of the A&P budget and broaden the product's presence in the market.
- Maintain regular communication with distributors and important clients to gauge the effectiveness of promotional efforts and stay current on evolving customer needs.
We are looking for a Candidate with:
Professional Background
- Education: A relevant university degree in a field such as Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Marketing, or a related Animal/Veterinary Science discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a sales role followed by at least 3 years in a marketing role. Previous professional experience within the Poultry, Animal Health, or Veterinary sector is strongly preferred.
