About the Role:
Our client, a prominent player in the animal nutrition industry, is seeking a highly experienced and driven Regional Commercial / Sales Manager to lead their growth initiatives in Jordan, Iraq, and Yemen. This individual will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and driving revenue in these key markets. Based in Jordan, the role requires a deep understanding of animal nutrition, feed additives, and related agricultural products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and execute sales plans to achieve growth and profitability targets across the Jordan, Iraq, and Yemen markets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with distributors, livestock producers, and key accounts, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and opportunities for expansion.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical support and insights on feed additives and animal nutrition products to clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing brand visibility and professional networking.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to support informed strategic decisions.
- Lead, motivate, and coach a high-performing sales team, setting clear targets and ensuring operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical, marketing, and product development, to support customer needs and market demand.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in animal nutrition or feed additives are an advantage.
- A minimum of 5-8 years in sales or business development within the animal nutrition, feed additives, or agricultural industries.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and expanding market share, particularly in Jordan, Iraq, and Yemen.
- Technical understanding of animal nutrition and feed additives, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with experience negotiating contracts and managing distributor relationships.
- Analytical skills to interpret market data and make strategic business recommendations.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region.
