Technical & Formulations Leader - MEA Region

Location: Open to anywhere in the ME region

Scope of Work:

Your role will be to support customers in the field - organise technical activities and develop customer services to support sales activities of premixes, additives, and nutritional specialties throughout the MENA region. 

  • Review new and customized premixes and concentrates.
  • Oversee raw material specifications with ongoing improvements
  • Develop formulation activities (Premix and Feed).
  • Contribute to the company’s commercial business strategies in the MENA area.

Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Provide technical support to local/regional customers, distributors, or business partners.
  • Lead, train, organize, and motivate a team of technical and formulation experts.
  • Identify needs of local and regional markets in terms of services, especially in feed formulation and processing.
  • Analyse customer’s nutrition programs and provide recommendations to optimize performance and cost.
  • Present relevant nutrition/health and product information at customer meetings and exhibitions.
  • Collect and analyze data, value experimental and marketing trials’ results, and develop content for promotional materials.
  • Define new product strategies and work plans to improve knowledge of additives and nutritional specialties.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, products, and services.
  • Assist Marketing Team in monitoring and analyzing MENA markets trends through research and surveys.
  • Develop business plans for assigned key accounts.
  • Cooperate with the Commercial Department to set forecasts, business plans, marketing strategies, and budgets.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in poultry nutrition, animal science/production, agriculture engineering, veterinarian or equivalent field.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant managerial experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficiency in English and Arabic. French language skills highly regarded
  • Computer literacy (MS Office suite).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Leadership and managerial skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and business ethics.
