The Recruitment Process

  • ONE

    Upon internal approval of job vacancy, client contacts consultant at AR

  • TWO

    AR consultant initiates internal job no. and clarifies particulars of the position to be filled with client – position description, key selection criteria, location etc – the job is uploaded to our corporate website

  • THREE

  • FOUR

    If AR database and network search is unsuccessful, an AR consultant will draft job advertisements for internet &/or print media as appropriate and gain approval from client if required

  • FIVE

    AR consultant will screen & interview potential candidate/s and then compile a candidate shortlist for interviews and present to client

  • SIX

    Client will advise AR consultant of candidates they have selected to interview, AR consultant will then co-ordinate interviews for these candidates

  • SEVEN

    AR consultant will conduct reference checks, facilitate medical checks/police checks and psychometric testing as required for candidates progressing through client interviews

  • EIGHT

    AR consultant to discuss negotiation of offer with client and make offer to the candidate, and AR consultant to confirm candidate acceptance & start date with client

  • NINE

    AR consultant to liaise with client and successful candidate regularly up until start date

  • TEN

    AR consultant to follow up with client & candidate at 1, 2, 3 & 6 months post placement
