Aquaculture Feed Nutritionist

We are delighted to bring you this excellent opportunity for our client, a multispecies feed manufacturer with numerous years of presence and success in Indonesia. As the Aquaculture Feed Nutritionist, you will be responsible for researching and formulating in optimizing feed to meet nutritional standards, cost efficiency, and the customer’s standard.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conduct trials and research for feed development, performance improvement, and statistical reporting on results.
• Collect data from multiple departments (laboratory, purchasing, production, etc.) to update feed formulations regularly.
• Assist in purchasing decisions, cost-saving analyses, and provide technical support to customers.
• Ensure feed quality assurance policies are implemented and conduct audits on their effectiveness.
• Identify and propose cost-saving measures related to formulation, raw material usage, and feed production.

We are looking for candidates possessing the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Fishery Science or related.
• Minimum of 5 years in formulating Aquaculture Feed, both Shrimp & Fish feed. 
• Have an excellent understanding of trial design and commercial research with strong attention to detail.
• Strong willingness to learn and keep updated on the industry trends related to animal nutrition technology and innovation.
• Fluent communication in Bahasa and English.
• Having an excellent knowledge of shrimp & fish disease and proficient in NIRS applications.
