Production Manager – Pet Food

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing process of our client company. Our Client is a leading producer of premium pet food products with a commitment to quality ingredients and nutritional excellence and strives to provide the best food product for companion animals in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pet food production management, with a focus on production efficiency, cost management, and team leadership. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the production team to ensure efficient operation of all manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
• Monitor production performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in Indonesia.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to resolve production issues and achieve operational goals.
• Perform reporting to the management regarding the analysis of the financial results of the plant.
• Drive initiatives to promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation within the production department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pet food manufacturing in Indonesia
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and cost management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Experience in Just in Time (JIT) or Manufacturing to-order environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production challenges.
