About Our Client: As a global leader in the field of animal nutrition, our client is committed to improving the well-being of animals through their exciting Animal Health and Nutrition portfolio. As such, we are on the hunt for a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth for their cattle / dairy portfolio in Australia. In this role, you’ll design and drive sales strategy, provide technical sales support to distributors and customers, and play a vital part in shaping the future of their business across Australia.

Key Responsibilities: As Regional Sales Manager – Dairy Nutrition, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Existing Business: Maintaining and nurturing existing business relationships with key accounts and partners.
  2. New Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across Australia.
  3. Market Strategy: Implementing the APAC business strategies related to the dairy portfolio.
  4. Client Relations: Building and maintaining high-level contacts with key end users and influencers, keeping them informed about industry trends and our latest products.
  5. Problem Solving: Investigating customer complaints and resolving industry-related issues on-site.
  6. Sales Targets: Ensuring the achievement of sales targets for dairy products on an annual basis.
  7. Reporting: Providing timely sales forecasts, reports, and necessary information.
  8. Punctuality: Being punctual and ready to work overtime when necessary, including business travel.
  9. Collaboration: Aligning and supporting technical, scientific, or commercial trials with local universities or target key accounts.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  1. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and follow-up skills.
  2. Goal-Oriented: Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-term goals.
  3. Technical Acumen: Technical skills to ask the right questions and address customer inquiries.
  4. Initiative: A self-starter with drive, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
  5. Passion: A passion for the food industry.
  6. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  7. Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 40-50% of working time.
  8. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, animal science/ nutrition or similar. Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the feed industry and/or feed additive, veterinary or agriculture sector.
