SALES MANAGER FOOD INGREDIENTS – THAILAND

Our client is a European-based food ingredient manufacturing company producing natural products for various industry segments, including food and beverage.  They are a dynamic and innovative global company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are currently representing our client in seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join their  Thailand organization as a Sales Manager for one of their most important business portfolio.

 This is an exciting opportunity to lead our client’s Thailand business in driving business growth and fostering strong relationships with existing and future key stakeholders in the food manufacturing market. Ideally you are a go getter and takes a high ownership of the business. This is a highly strategic position fin the Business,  you will report to the ASEAN General Manager.

As the Sales Manager, you will be overall responsible for the Thailand business, its team, and market activities. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive business plans aimed at achieving growth and profit objectives. Actively endorse the business and its products in the market.

  • Oversee and supervise distributors to ensure the realization of short-term and long-term business goals. Ensure the proper implementation and utilization of business process tools. Emphasize the effectiveness of distributor activities.

  • Forge and sustain strong relationships with key customers, both current and potential. Collaborate with the application lab to devise solutions for customers. 

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address customer concerns, spanning from new solutions to quality and product delivery.

  • Monitor market trends, encompassing consumers, customers, competitors, laws, and regulations. Identify opportunities, mitigate threats, and provide insights on market dynamics for strategic business planning.

  • Represent the organization in fairs or exhibitions to showcase the company and its products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or other related field with 10+ years of experience in specialty products sales.

  •  Proven track record in business planning, distributor management, and customer relationship management in the food industry

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Thailand nationality and Fluent in English
